DESCRIPTION:At Yorktown’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series\, sunsets are sweet\, the music is live\, and the vibes are unbeatable.\nThe Deloreans are a seasoned showband comprised of 6 distinct vocalists that cover the most memorable artists and nostalgic songs of the ‘80s. Each band member is featured throughout the show\, making this band’s most notable attribute its unmatched variety. The Deloreans is known for their dynamic ‘80s costumes\, unstoppable energy\, and their ability to bring down the house every time. Collectively\, they have performed in over 6 countries\, for several heads of state\, and for three sitting US Presidents. With over 2\,000 shows under their belt\, their talent is finely tuned and their show is time-proven.\n\nGrab your lawn chairs\, kick off your shoes\, and dance by the York River during Yorktown’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series! Each Thursday evening brings a different beat—country\, beach\, jazz\, R&B\, and more—along with delicious food trucks and cool coastal breezes.\n\nCome early to grab dinner or dessert from one of our waterfront favorites like Water Street Grille\, Carrot Tree\, or Ben & Jerry’s. Then\, settle in for a night of great music\, good friends\, and summer memories made under the stars.\n\nGuests are permitted to bring their own blankets\, chairs\, and small coolers. No tables\, umbrellas\, or tents are allowed. There will be a dance floor\, friendly games of corn hole\, and tasty\, to-go meals from rotating food trucks available for purchase.  \n\nFree parking is available at designated public parking lots throughout town\, including York Hall\, York-Poquoson Courthouse\, and County Administration Building.\n\nThe complimentary\, ADA accessible Yorktown Trolley runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m. during every concert with a modified route that still includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town.
